GLN: Stay connected while you’re staying at home! The CRNA BHS Team has a variety of opportunities for people of all ages to engage in enrichment activities, participate in encouraging and supportive discussion, and gain life enhancing resources to promote our individual and community well-being. All events are available on Zoom via video and teleconference and a couple of events are available on additional platforms. Glennallen Schools: In response to COVID-19 Scholastic has developed an online book fair so that students may still have access to new books at an affordable price. Just a reminder Glennallen Chromebooks will be distributed today! Parents will need to meet us to sign the CRSD User agreement before a Chromebook can be given out. If we miss you, please call us so we can make another arrangement. This is a reminder to all Kenny Lake School families of middle and high school students to have your student DAILY check their emails and Google Classrooms for assignments, updates, etc.  

Teachers are sending out invites for Zoom meetings, Google Classroom, and other things. Students need to check their CRSD email account to accept these invites. Please ask your children to check email so they are ready for school on Monday.

For Glennallen students, we will be distributing Chromebooks at these locations on Friday, March 27, 2020. If you are not able to meet us at one of these locations, please call the school to set up a different arrangement. Parents will need to meet us to sign the CRSD User agreement before a Chromebook can be given out. GLN: Following the advice of experts concerning the COVID-19 virus and minimizing its impact in Alaska, the Glennallen Schools are temporarily closed to the public. All facility use agreements are postponed indefinitely. Updates will be provided as received. Thank you for understanding. Stay home and stay well.

Spring Break Extended: CRSD will be extending its Spring Break for students another week due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus. We understand that this will be a challenge for families and have made this decision based on safety concerns. More information will be sent out in the days ahead.

GLN: Glennallen Panthers Basketball will be having their last home game of the season tomorrow Tuesday, March 3, 2020 starting at 4pm in the GHS gymnasium. We will also be recognizing our Senior basketball players. #PantherBasketball #WeAreCRSD #Glennallen

The Kenny Lake PTO will meet on Monday, March 2 at 3:30 p.m. in the school library. There will also be a Kenny Lake ASB meeting on Friday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Suess! Monday, March 2nd-- Read Across America Day Community members are invited to visit Slana School and read a Dr. Seuss book to students!
